The lure of the fountain at the Seattle Center

Each week we take at least one field trip, and lately we've been going to the Children's Museum at the Seattle Center. In order to get there from where we park, several blocks away, we must pass the fountain. The water shoots in time to classical music and is a real thrill to watch. When the music is quiet the water level is low, and brave souls approach, then a crescendo and "BOOM" the water shoots sky high and everyone runs. Different nozzles are fired at different times, so many unique patterns are created. K dances to the music at a safe distance, whereas A likes to "tease" the fountain and see how close she can creep to it, and then how fast she can run when it shoots water at her.
