Bath time for K's monkeys is a traumatic affair. K worries constantly about her beloveds' welfare, whether they can breathe under water, if they get dizzy in the spin cycle, if they are chilly while hanging up to dry. K is such a loving, attentive little mommy to her many monkeys. Before they go into the machine K gives them a little pep talk, advising them to "hold hands," and "hold breath," and "close eyes." Being reunited before bed involves enthusiastic kissing and K's words of praise to them: "you made it!" and "you smell so sweet!"
