We discovered the Mountlake Terrace Recreation pavillion and pool. It's about time! This place has a wonderful playroom for the little folks, and a pool with attractions for everyone. There's a wading section filled with toys and fountains and bubblers and slides. There's a lap section, a deep diving area (they give scuba lessons), a shallow area for baby classes, and our favorite feature: a "lazy river." The "river" has a strong current that advanced swimmers can struggle to swim against, or lazy people can float along on with innertubes. They also provide soft and comfy life vests for children, so they can bob safely in the water without fear of going under.
