A's adult teeth are erupting behind the row of baby teeth. The dentist sent us to see an orthodontist (at age 5!), and it's recommended that the 4 baby teeth in front be pulled, to make room for the rest of the erupting adult teeth. Each night after I brush A's teeth I apply orajel to numb her gums, and then I wiggle her teeth. I want to get the teeth out before the dentist does on August 22, because the dentist is charging $100 per tooth PLUS anesthetic charges. I finally succeeded in getting one tooth out on August 16th, but the rest are still firmly set. A was very excited by her first visit from the tooth fairy, and the opportunity to eat as many ice pops as she liked.
