Finally a chance to share a *few* (of the 300) photos from our Midwest vacation August 8-14, 2005. It was the perfect trip -- we were able to visit everyone we went there to see; we explored the zoo, the children's museum, Conner Prairie living history muesum, a water park, an Amish farm, and more. We even got to go touring in a gigantic and luxurious RV owned by friends of our aunt and uncle. We ate lots of fresh corn and ripe tomatoes, and delicious home-cooked meals lovingly prepared by family and friends. We chased lightning bugs at dusk and got soaked in flash thunderstorms. We swam in the hotel pool almost every day, and sweated in the 95 degree heat and 98% humidity. Best of all was visiting with our Uncle M, who had had a massive stroke in June. He is recovering well and we were so happy to see him.
