It was a wet and blustery Halloween. There were "harvest festivals" at the girls' schools, trick-or-treating at Gilman Village and our own neighborhood, and a church carnival to attend. The girls were very good about only eating two pieces of candy and one cupcake, despite the dizzying array of sweets everywhere we went.
