We are coming off a few days of the stomach flu and are finally having enough appetite to make our holiday candy houses. The girls had a great time playing "animal hospital" with Santa delivering medicine, and "monkey house" with Santa bringing bananas. It wasn't just about the decorating -- the whole time the girls were discussing story lines for their little houses. It's such fun to stand back and watch them create, and hear their imaginations take flight.
