A has been wanting to see the Nutcracker Ballet for half of her little life. This year she was finally old enough to sit still through it. The Pacific Northwest Ballet version in Seattle, which is the best, would have cost well over $150.oo for the two of us to attend, if we wanted to be in seats where we could actually see something. Instead I took A to a smaller company's performance, where tickets cost us just under $60.00 for the two of us, and we were able to sit in the center, two rows from the stage for a perfect view! A was delighted, enthralled, and inspired. She especially enjoyed meeting the dancers after the show.
