Below are some photos from February 2006. We've spent a lot of time at home, but did manage a trip to the zoo where K spent half an hour playing peek-a-boo with a lonely orangutan. K was also very excited when the Curious George film opened. We went to an advance screening and got free T-shirts. The movie was a poor tribute to the classic Curious George, but on its own it was adequate for the kids. A is reading about 200 words now and has fallen in love with some vintage "Dick and Jane" readers that I found at the Goodwill thrift. Not the most PC books, as they totally lack diversity and show Dad smoking a pipe and Mom always in heels with her apron, but they are humorous and easy for A to read. No big adventures lately. Maybe March will bring more outings.
