When K is asked what she wants to be when she grows up, she says simply, "Jane Goodall." For K there is no higher calling than to actually be in Africa with the wild, uncaged Chimpanzees. When unsuspecting adults suggest K could become a zookeeper, K gets very offended and says that's not where Chimpanzees belong.
