We like to go to Gilman Village www.gilmanvillage.com/ A little collection of vintage houses and barns that have been refurbished as gift shops. The merchants hand out candy and the crowd is young, so there are no spooky costumes to frighten the girls. And it's in the afternoon while it's still light.
